It just struck me that I'm actively looking for things to fix. Looking so hard that I either find something that I could've left well enough alone, maybe, or growing frustrated because I can't see the flaws therefore I'm missing something important.

Damn perfectionism!

I think the way I'll work this is, I'll keep plugging on forward, while I go back and rework one scene at a time. When one character is asking another "Okay, so what next?" and the other character doesn't have an answer, it's time to regroup.
